Metro-West Appraisal Co., LLC is proud to announce the promotion of Mr. Charles Gress to Vice President of Quality Control. Mr. Gress is an FHA/HUD approved State Certified Appraiser.

Charles joined the Metro-West family in 1995, becoming a State Licensed Appraiser in 1998. Soon after, he was promoted to Branch Manager of our Grand Blanc, Michigan office where he remained for the next 7 years; spending the majority of his time educating incoming appraisers on valuation principles and methodology. By 2004, he was the first Metro-West Appraiser to receive his Veterans Affairs (VA) approval.

Charles was offered an opportunity to open and manage the Orlando, Florida branch office in 2007 where he subsequently obtained his State Certification and honed his management acumen. After accepting the Vice President of Quality Control position, he and his family relocated to Michigan where Charles began operating from the company’s Northville, Michigan home office. Specializing in internal review and procedural protocol enforcement, Charles has been integral in an effort to improve product consistency while increasing productivity. Charles has also been instrumental in the development of our Collateral Risk Analysis and Reconciliation Divisions; providing singular tolerance assumptions derived from multiple value conclusions.
