- A postage stamp was 22¢ for a first class letter
- There were smoking and non-smoking sections on airplanes
- “Wall Street” and “Fatal Attraction” were among America’s favorite box office hits

- And Metro-West Appraisal opened its doors
We began in a smoke filled, three-man, 1,000 square foot Livonia, Michigan office that serviced only three counties. And now (20 Years Later): over 85 employees, five locations, and 38 counties with more to come. Our sister company, World Appraisal, is celebrating their 10th year in business. With both companies we are able to service all 3,077 counties, parishes, and boroughs of the United States.
As we celebrate our 20th year in business, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our 2,500+ clients for their support and loyalty, as well as our 400+ team members for their hard work and dedication. For the past 20 years we have provided over 350,000 quality and timely residential appraisals to our clients throughout the country.
We look forward to expanding our national coverage area over the coming months and once again we offer a thank you to everyone for supporting our growth and progress!
