7-Hour USPAP Update Course
Using the National USPAP Course material copyrighted by The Appraisal Foundation, this free course covers basic rules for ethical behavior and competent performance. Designed to comply with USPAP requirements for licensed appraisers, this course highlights the role of the appraiser and the implied impartiality often associated with this role. Participants will learn how new requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice affect their appraisal businesses.
This professional training will be presented by Greg Stephens,
chief appraiser and SVP of compliance, Metro-West Appraisal.
Stephens’ professional credentials include his role as president of the
North Texas Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, AQB certified USPAP and
CDEI certified distance education instructor, and he is also a member
of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
Lunch will be provided by Metro-West Appraisal Co. Immediately following the event, you are invited to join Metro-West at the Continuing Education Afterglow. The course can be used toward continuing education credits. You will be e-mailed a certificate upon completion.
NOTE: Effective November 15, 2013, students must obtain the 2014–2015 edition for all USPAP update courses. Please note that attendees are required to bring their own course materials. Cost of the 2014–2015 USPAP handbook and other associated materials is extra.
